Mansion Sports – Liverpool are reportedly ready to invest more than £30 million to secure the services of Crystal Palace center-back Marc Guéhi during the summer transfer window. 

However, the move will depend heavily on Palace’s willingness to accept the offer and their ability to secure a suitable replacement for their captain.

Liverpool’s interest in Guéhi first surfaced at the start of the summer, but discussions have intensified in recent weeks.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool are pushing to finalize a deal worth around £30 million before the transfer window shuts. 

The outcome largely depends on Palace’s willingness to sanction the move at that figure and their success in finding a timely replacement. 

At the same time, Liverpool are said to be in active communication with Guéhi, who is reportedly keen on making the move to Anfield.

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has emphasized that the club still needs Guéhi, at least until the conclusion of their second-leg Europa Conference League qualifier against Fredrikstad on Thursday. 

Palace hold only a narrow 1-0 advantage from the first leg and have already lost Eberechi Eze to Arsenal, making Guéhi’s leadership and presence in defense all the more crucial.
