Mansion Sports – Juventus have finally reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) regarding the permanent transfer of Randal Kolo Muani, with the total deal valued at €60 million.

This agreement concludes a lengthy negotiation process that has been ongoing for several weeks.

From Loan Signing to FIFA Club World Cup Participation

Kolo Muani initially joined Juventus in January on a loan deal. He even remained with the Bianconeri during the FIFA Club World Cup, with the temporary move costing the Turin-based club around €3.6 million.

Intense Negotiations Lead to Final Agreement

Juventus’ efforts to secure a permanent move for Kolo Muani proved challenging. PSG initially insisted on increasing their asking price at the last minute, while Juventus had hoped to finalize the deal at a lower cost. 

However, after weeks of intense talks, both clubs agreed on a €60 million package, which includes the previous loan fee and an obligation to buy.

PSG’s Financial Considerations

PSG’s decision to raise their demands is tied to the substantial fee they paid when signing Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt in September 2023, a deal worth €95 million. The French champions deemed it necessary to recover part of that major investment, making it impossible for them to lower their asking price significantly for Juventus.

Kolo Muani’s Impact in Turin

Since his arrival, the French international has made a notable contribution to Juventus, recording 10 goals and three assists in 22 competitive appearances. His performances have strengthened the club’s determination to retain him on a permanent basis.

The Player’s Commitment to Juventus

Kolo Muani has also demonstrated strong loyalty to Juventus by rejecting offers from other clubs. 

He chose to wait patiently until negotiations between Juventus and PSG were finalized, ensuring he could continue his career with the Turin giants.
