The final served as the grand stage for Cole Palmer, who delivered a breathtaking performance, scoring twice and providing one assist to seal the victory for Chelsea.

Their first breakthrough came in the 22nd minute when Malo Gusto and Palmer combined brilliantly on the right wing.

Despite trailing, PSG made several efforts to get back into the match through chances created by Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembélé, and Joao Neves. 

However, goalkeeper Robert Sánchez emerged as an unbreakable last line of defense for Chelsea.

The match’s tension escalated in the 85th minute when Joao Neves was shown a straight red card after a VAR review overturned the initial yellow.
