Atalanta Reject Inter Milan's Latest Bid for Ademola Lookman
Mansion Sports – Inter Milan’s pursuit of Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman has once again stalled, as the Bergamo-based club rejected a renewed offer worth €42 million plus an additional €3 million in bonuses.
Atalanta remains resolute in its demand of €50 million, a valuation that has been firmly maintained since negotiations began.
Critical Meeting Held Without Reaching a Resolution
This morning, representatives from both clubs convened for a long-anticipated meeting aimed at restructuring the terms of Lookman’s potential transfer.
During the discussions, Inter submitted a new formal proposal, slightly improved from their previous €40 million offer.
Despite the revised figure—€42 million plus €3 million in conditional bonuses—Atalanta stood firm and declined the offer.
Club officials deemed it insufficient and still below their established financial expectations for the player.

Atalanta Unwavering on €50 Million Valuation
From the outset of negotiations, Atalanta has been unwavering in its valuation of Lookman at €50 million.
Nonetheless, the club signaled a degree of flexibility, indicating they would seriously consider an offer structured at €45 million plus €5 million in performance-related bonuses.
To date, however, Inter Milan has not met this structure. Atalanta’s stance remains clear: any proposal that falls short of their minimum financial threshold will not be entertained or advanced further.
Inter Faces Internal Deadline of July 31
With time running out, Inter Milan is reportedly keen to avoid protracted negotiations. The Nerazzurri have set an internal deadline of July 31 to make substantial progress in the talks.
Should no agreement be reached by that point, it is likely that Inter will pivot toward alternative transfer targets in order to reinforce their squad ahead of the new season.
Lookman's Future Remains Uncertain Amid Stalemate
Ademola Lookman, who delivered standout performances for Atalanta in both domestic and European competitions last season, has emerged as a highly sought-after player in this summer’s transfer window.
However, his future remains clouded by the unresolved valuation dispute between the two Serie A clubs.
With the clock ticking and no deal in place, the transfer saga is poised to reach a critical juncture in the coming days.
Atalanta continues to stand firm on their price tag, while Inter must now decide whether to escalate their bid or redirect their efforts toward other options in the market.
